Wines To Find Ep 6: Making The Most Of Your Wine Festival Visit

Sandy and Michelle travel to Charleston, S.C., to attend the Charleston Winter Wine Festival. Along the way, they share their take on must-do’s for a  Charleston visit and discuss the array of wines featured by the festival and those they are most excited to try. 

Sandy & Michelle discuss the availability of the wine list online and the spreadsheet they created to take along to the festival.

While they tasted over 20 wines, Sandy and Michelle small tasted or “spit tasted” many so that they could each choose their favorite for a full glass. Sandy’s was the Diora Petite Grace Pinot Noir and Michelle’s was the Shatter Grenache.

In addition to tasting many wines, Sandy and Michelle met many interesting folks, one of whom was a couple in town for the weekend who scored a free bottle of wine – listen to the episode for that fun story.
